S2S Lifecycle Services are able to offer a complete service to assist WEEE producers to meet their WEEE obligations. Our high security site in Sheffield is one of the few in Yorkshire that is registered as an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) and our unique database system allows the complete control of each and every shipment that comes through the gate.

This means we are able to offer tailored reports to clients and compliance schemes on weights, materials and WEEE type that offer a full audit trail. Many organisations can treat WEEE but S2S Lifecycle Services offer a truly unique service with load specific reporting that is both accurate and allows complete traceability of component parts. We can offer the following services.

  • Advice on the WEEE directive, including product scope, obligations and general guidance
  • WEEE registration with the Environment Agency through approved Producer Compliance Schemes
  • WEEE collections either directly from end users or from the WEEE producers site anywhere in the UK
  • Unique WEEE container and logistic solutions for collections from WEEE envelopes, WEEE boxes, WEEE bins and WEEE Skips
  • Unique reporting functions and tailored WEEE reports for both WEEE producer's and Compliance schemes

S2S Lifecycle Services is part of the S2S Electronics group and as such we are able to offer a host of services around product stewardship. This includes, design of circuit boards, manufacture of circuit boards along with assistance with RoHS compliance, WEEE compliance, EuP directive compliance, REACH compliance. RoHS testing

S2S Lifecycle Services can take the products and/or components and offer a full XRF test facility that will identify any traces of the restricted substances and produce a full report that can be used as part of the audit trial to demonstrate compliance with RoHS.

Eco Design/Design for disassembly

S2S Lifecycle Services are in a unique position to look at products both from a manufacturing perspective and a recycling perspective and as such we are able to offer advise on how a product goes together and comes apart. Working with specialist Eco-design consultants we are able to put together a service whereby we can look at existing or new designs and offer advice on how to improve the products recyclability and overall environmental performance.
