Remove
Equipment identified as end of life or surplus to requirement is decommissioned by our security cleared team.
Prior to removal, each item is barcoded and then scanned when removed from the site which creates the beginning of an all important Auditable Asset Trail >>>
<<< Once recorded the equipment is packaged and manifested before being removed from site using our own logistics personnel. The consignment is securely
transported to our own secure operations plant and receipted which then provides the second stage of the Auditable Asset Trail. The consignment is then unpacked and recorded on our bespoke database which then provides the next step in the Auditable Asset Trail. This fulfills the decommission stage of the process.
Refurbish
Each individual asset is tested and assessed for specification.
Based upon our customers instructions we then make decisions on what will be the next stage of the process for that item >>>
<<< If the item is suitable for refurbishment it will be scanned as being prepared for remarket and will go through the process of being fully tested. Data is removed if appropriate using approved
data wiping software and the unit externally cleaned and repackaged. Once completed the item can be made available and recorded on our system depending on our customers specific instructions. Any item which does not fulfill the customers minimum specifications or is found to be not fully functional will be processed through the recycle route.
Remarket
Stock which is made available for remarket will be resold by our brokering team, achieving the best possible revenues for the market conditions. >>>
<<< Once sold the item is recorded as such on our systems completing the Auditable Asset Trail for that product.
Revenue credits are returned to our customers for any equipment which is sold.
Recycle
Items deemed for recycle are scanned as being recycled creating the final stage of the Auditable Asset Trail for those items >>>
<<< WEEE items are stripped and processed in line with the latest European legislation.
